How Birth Cards Come in Pairs
When your digit total is between 10 and 22, you have a personality card and a soul card. The soul card is simply the personality number reduced to a single digit, so the two are always linked: 10 reduces to 1, 11 to 2, 12 to 3, and so on up to 22, which reduces to 4.
That is why the classic pairs run in a regular pattern: The Magician with Wheel of Fortune (1 and 10), The High Priestess with Justice (2 and 11), and so on. Not sure of yours? Use the calculator.

If your total reduces to 1 through 9 directly, you have a single birth card, which acts as both your personality and soul card. Dates that total 19 and 10 pass through more cards: The Sun, Wheel of Fortune and The Magician.
