The calculator follows the traditional reduction method popularized by Mary K. Greer. Everything happens in your browser: your date is read, calculated and displayed on your device, and it is never stored, sent to a server or included in analytics.
How to Calculate Your Birth Cards
- Write your birth date as month, day, year (for example 07/04/1990).
- Add every digit together: 0 + 7 + 0 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 30.
- If the total is above 22, add its digits again: 3 + 0 = 3.
- The result is your personality card. Here, 3 is The Empress.
- If the result is 10 to 22, reduce it once more to a single digit. That is your soul card.
A total of 22 is read as The Fool (0). A total of 19 passes through The Sun, Wheel of Fortune and The Magician on the way to a soul card of I.
